Job Requirements

  • minimum of five years food and beverage and restaurant or hotel experience
  • previous leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar size and nature
  • ability to work long hours of standing, walking, bending, and squatting
  • physical ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds or more
  • willingness to work in adverse weather conditions such as rain, cold, and summer heat
  • capability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • attention to detail in handling accounting and inventory
  • availability to work full-time shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • minimum of five years food and beverage and restaurant or hotel experience
  • previous leadership experience in a high-volume restaurant or similar size and nature
  • knowledge of POS system and computer terminal operations
  • experience with time and attendance software such as Paycom
  • strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • proficiency in cost control and inventory management
  • ability to enforce safety and health regulations
  • experience with staff training and development
  • knowledge of standard operating procedures creation and implementation

Job Duties

  • understand and apply all safety and security procedures to maintain a secure and safe environment for employees and guests
  • ensure medical attention and contact GM or MOD in the event of an accident
  • ensure Worker’s Comp or General Liability claim is filed within 24 hours
  • maintain an organized and efficient restaurant and bar and lounge operations
  • determine, communicate, and monitor achievement standards and performance standards
  • handle disciplinary action and counseling sessions as necessary
  • work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment performing duties under pressure and meeting deadlines
  • help oversee operation of all food and beverage operations
  • use computer terminal, POS system, Paycom time and attendance
  • attend BEO, staff and food and beverage meetings
  • assist Bar and Lounge Manager on all daily tasks
  • handle and send beverage orders to suppliers weekly
  • run glassware inventory monthly
  • create SOPS for bar and lounge operations
  • assist Bar and Lounge Manager to create or update cocktail program
  • handle accounting for all purchases and inventory
  • analyze and monitor day-to-day operation reports, monthly and yearly financial statements, labor costs
  • perform special projects as necessary for General Manager or Bar and Lounge Manager
  • communicate with other managers regarding internal events
  • taste food and beverage products to ensure quality and consistency
  • market ideas and promotions in the food and beverage department
  • handle customer satisfaction issues
  • oversee disciplinary actions regarding any food and beverage associate
  • monitor food and beverage computer POS systems
  • assist in monitoring cashier procedures
  • perform job responsibilities of associates when business dictates
  • open and close restaurant following all procedures
