Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age by the date of first interview
  • Able to pass FAA required 10 year work history review
  • Pass criminal background and fingerprint checks
  • Authorized to work in the United States and able to travel internationally
  • Possess and maintain valid US or foreign passport
  • Willing to submit to and pass FAA and company mandated random drug and alcohol tests
  • Must satisfy all flight attendant company policy and regulatory requirements
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Able to handle interruptions and fast-paced environment
  • Able to work with confidential materials and information
  • Must not have tattoos visible in uniform
  • Must not have multiple visible piercings in uniform
  • Able to process information quickly and react positively in emergency situations
  • Physical ability to reach and operate emergency equipment using force up to 70 pounds
  • Capable of lifting objects above shoulder up to 35 pounds
  • Able to push or pull carts weighing over 250 pounds
  • Able to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to stoop, crouch, climb, and kneel
  • Able to see clearly at 20 feet with or without corrective lenses
  • Able to hear verbal communications clearly in noisy aircraft environment
  • Must be able to sit in jump seat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without modifications
  • Must be able to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and support all weather conditions
  • Must be willing to relocate based on company operational needs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least two years of inflight or airport customer service experience
  • Intermediate level computer knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • Ability to write, read, speak and understand English
  • Leadership and organizational skills
  • Previous flight attendant experience preferred
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience preferred
  • Advanced computer skills preferred in Microsoft Office applications

Job Duties

  • Act as an engaged base champion of customer experience across all partners flown from the base
  • Engage the base flight attendant team by fostering personal relationships
  • Provide assistance to the flight team as needed
  • Create, manage and deliver meaningful flight attendant recognition and individual rewards
  • Participate in ramp quality assurance daily meetings
  • Fly at least one trip per month including overnight flights and conduct inflight evaluations
  • Complete and distribute a monthly base newsletter
  • Ensure engagement with station-based initiatives and maintain partnerships with airport operations
  • Ensure flight attendants are informed of service, company, regulatory and partner standards
  • Foster partnership approach with IBT union representatives
  • Maintain clean and serviceable crew rooms and airport standby rooms
  • Develop and maintain open communication with inflight leadership, crew scheduling and planning
  • Ensure all flight attendants comply with company, regulatory and partner policies
  • Maintain and complete administrative records and documents as required
  • Manage and reduce flight attendant lost time
  • Partner with flight department to complete operational obligations like drug tests and dependability meetings
  • Manage base financial and cost of business budgets
  • Complete special projects and other duties assigned by senior leadership
