Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift regularly
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms frequently
  • Ability to sit occasionally
  • Valid in-state driver’s license
  • Good driving record
  • Pass a background check

Job Duties

  • Ensure the customers are greeted, assisted and guided to the proper person
  • Install seat, steering wheel, and floor protection in all vehicles taken in for service prior to returning a completed vehicle to a customer
  • Remove the seat, steering wheel and floor covers and ID tags installed when vehicle was brought in for service
  • Help to maintain the parking lot in an organized and efficient manner
  • Move customer and dealership vehicles as directed
  • Help inspect the vehicles for stains, debris and damages before returning the vehicle to the customer and report any damages to the management immediately
  • Retrieve customer vehicles from the parking lot when their bill is paid or as directed by the cashier or service advisors
  • Remain in the service write-up area unless performing another task as directed
  • Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations such as safety requirements, hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, Right-to-Know, etc.
  • Check in loaner vehicles being returned by customers
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the customer drop off area
  • Utilize all available information to ensure proper resolution of problems
  • Provide prompt, efficient, and quality service to the customers and dealership
  • Take the initiative to exceed customer satisfaction even if it requires overcoming obstacles
  • Present self as a positive role model by demonstrating commitment to the department, customers, dealership, and company
  • Attend training classes as directed by management
