With a range of dealerships, including Fred Beans Ford, the company provides a comprehensive automotive buying and servicing experience to its customers. Fred Beans Ford specializes in Ford vehicles and prides itself on excellent customer service and a well-maintained dealership facility. As part of Fred Beans Automotive Group, the Ford dealership upholds these values by offering a positive atmosphere for both customers and employees alike.

Fred Beans Ford is currently looking for a part-time service porter to join their team. This role is entry-level, ideal for individuals seeking to start a career in the automotive industry. The service porter is responsible for the daily maintenance and organization of the dealership environment, ensuring that both the lot and service department areas remain clean and presentable. By keeping the lot organized and facilitating the movement of vehicles between customers and local sites, the service porter plays a crucial role in the operational efficiency of the dealership.

In this position, the porter will assist in day-to-day service department operations, including light cleaning duties such as sweeping sidewalks and removing debris from the lot. Another important aspect of the job is maintaining the proper display and appearance of used vehicles daily, helping to usher them through service and detailing to the front line within 72 hours. The porter will ensure that vehicles are cleaned, arranged, and ready for bids as necessary. Other duties involve driving vehicles to collision centers and detailing facilities, among other tasks related to vehicle management and service department support.

Fred Beans Ford offers modern facilities equipped with the latest technology to streamline work processes, including tablets, electronic repair orders, multi-point inspections, and texting software. Employees benefit from company-funded training and leadership programs designed to foster career growth within the automotive industry, demonstrating the company's investment in its workforce. Additional benefits include company-funded health coverage, life and disability insurance, cancer insurance, pet insurance, and a company-matched 401(k) plan. Paid vacation and personal time off, reasonable work hours Monday through Saturday with Sundays off, employee and community discounts across a wide range of vendors, and a healthy living program further enhance the comprehensive benefits package.

This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle, which is essential for the position. While basic automotive knowledge is preferred, the job is well-suited for motivated individuals with good communication skills, the ability to follow instructions, and the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
