Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- previous auto work experience preferred
- valid driver’s license and good driving record
- must obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card within one month of start date in order to work at VPC (manager will assist with this process)
- ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
- strong communication skills and ability to write legibly
- team player with a dedication to customer service excellence
- ability to work overtime hours in a fast-paced environment including evenings and Saturdays, as needed
- work schedule Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Job Duties
- Inspect and photograph vehicles for damage at the pier
- stage vehicles to ensure efficient loading onto car carrier trucks
- shuttle vehicles on the lot and to/from remote storage locations and service bays for technicians
- prepare vehicles for delivery to dealerships by removing metal ties and plastic coating on vehicles from hood, roof, trunk, and rims
- maintain vehicle key files and accurately document location of vehicles on the lot
- ensure that vehicles are properly fueled
- charge dead batteries and change flat tires as needed
- other duties as assigned
