Job Requirements
- stand and walk for extended periods of time
- work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, and sun
- bend, stoop, twist, and reach regularly
- lift and carry up to 25-40 pounds
- perform repetitive wiping, drying, and cleaning tasks
- work safely around moving vehicles and mechanical equipment
- must be available for part-time, seasonal schedule including Saturday through Wednesday, 9AM-5PM
Job Qualifications
- reliable and punctual with strong attendance
- ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- comfortable working outdoors and around moving vehicles
- positive attitude and willingness to assist in multiple operational areas
- previous car wash, cleaning, or service industry experience is helpful but not required
Job Duties
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the car wash lot, vacuum stations, and customer areas
- pick up trash and debris throughout the property and empty trash receptacles regularly
- sweep, rinse, and maintain walkways, parking areas, and service areas
- keep entrances, exits, and traffic lanes clear of debris and hazards
- monitor vacuum areas and ensure equipment and spaces remain clean and accessible for customers
- notify management of maintenance issues, equipment concerns, or safety hazards
- assist with processing vehicles safely through the wash tunnel
- guide vehicles onto the conveyor when needed and ensure proper alignment
- maintain awareness of safety procedures around moving vehicles and equipment
- communicate with team members to ensure smooth vehicle flow through the wash
- dry customer vehicles at the tunnel exit using approved towels and drying techniques
- ensure vehicles receive a high-quality final touch before returning to the customer
- provide friendly and helpful customer interactions during the vehicle exit process
- assist Full Service and Express Detail teams when needed
- support interior cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces and preparing vehicles for detailing
- help maintain organization and cleanliness within detail areas
- ensure towels and supplies are stocked and available for team members
- maintain a clean and professional appearance of the property at all times
- support team members and management with additional operational tasks as assigned
- follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines
- maintain a positive, professional, and helpful attitude toward customers
- provide assistance or directions to customers when appropriate
- represent Washman Car Wash with professionalism and courtesy at all times
- help ensure customers leave with a positive experience
