Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality management preferred
  • business or related experience or training equivalent
  • 3+ years of relevant supervisor work experience preferred
  • experience in a hospitality work environment preferred
  • ability to work prolonged periods walking standing and sitting
  • ability to lift up to 60 pounds
  • ability to implement and uphold standards for excellence

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Lead train and supervise the security department staff
  • handle various security situations proactively to protect hotel and team members
  • establish operational procedures for fire prevention OSHA and safety compliance accident prevention security protocols and patrolling property
  • investigate accidents and criminal acts keep detailed records and incident reports
  • work with hotel management to formulate security and safety policies and programs
  • patrol premises identify safety and security irregularities and ensure timely resolution
  • partner with local government agencies law enforcement and firefighting agencies
  • observe departing employees conduct package checks to prevent theft
  • monitor premises via CCTV maintain systems report issues
  • permit authorized persons entry issue badges document visits
  • ensure detailed records of property damage unusual occurrences safety patrols accidents and security incidents
  • perform other related duties as assigned
