Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year cash handling experience preferred
  • Ability to perform duties with knowledge of Starbucks policies
  • Customer service experience in retail or food service
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have valid driver’s license and maintain safe driving record
  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical activities
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or current college student
  • Minimum of one year cash handling experience preferred
  • Knowledge of basic mathematical principles
  • Customer service experience in retail or food service
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable, safe driving record

Job Duties

  • Act with integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promote Starbucks culture, values, and mission
  • Maintain calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard
  • Anticipate guest and store needs by evaluating environment and communicate necessary information to manager
  • Assist with new partner training by providing positive reinforcement and coaching
  • Contribute to positive team environment by recognizing changes in morale and performance and reporting to manager
  • Deliver legendary customer service by connecting with customers and responding to needs
  • Follow Starbucks operational policies including cash handling, safety, and security
  • Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
  • Provide quality beverages and food products adhering to recipe and presentation standards
  • Recognize and reinforce individual and team accomplishments
