Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- equipment operation and/or driving test may be administered
- must maintain a valid driver's license and insurability with district's insurance carrier
- no commercial driver's license required
- ability to adhere to delivery schedules
- physical ability to assist with loading and unloading
- willingness to participate in mandatory training
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- experience working as a delivery driver or in shipping and receiving is preferred
- proficient in driving large vehicles
- forklift operation knowledge is beneficial
- able to work Monday through Friday 5:30 am to 2:00 pm CST
- valid driver's license with insurability under district's insurance carrier
Job Duties
- Drive large cube van proficiently including backing up using only door mirrors
- deliver milk and dairy products to district facilities on established schedules
- assist in unloading delivery trucks, picking stock, and storing stock as needed
- operate forklifts and other material handling equipment
- load trucks and deliver warehouse goods safely to district facilities maintaining the delivery schedule
- maintain assigned vehicle orderly and request mechanical attention as necessary
- perform equipment maintenance as assigned
- participate in all mandatory training required by the district
- communicate, collaborate, and cooperate with colleagues, supervisors, and students
