Job Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, planning, or project coordination in a heavy industrial, aerospace, or manufacturing environment
  • advanced Excel skills
  • familiarity with databases and maintenance planning systems
  • ability to interpret data, communicate plans clearly, and collaborate across engineering, supply chain, and operations teams
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • associate degree in a related field preferred
  • experience with line and base maintenance forecasting preferred
  • knowledge of aviation safety standards and FAA/EASA maintenance requirements preferred
  • familiarity with predictive analytics tools and dashboards such as Power BI preferred
  • Project Management or Six Sigma certification preferred
  • commitment to data accuracy and attention to detail
  • knowledge of aviation maintenance or MRO processes preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and maintain long-range maintenance forecasts for materials, skilled labor, and span times (6-36 months)
  • use forecasting software, planning tools, and historical data to predict future maintenance demand and resource requirements
  • collaborate with Supply Chain to align long-lead material procurement, rotable component planning, and parts availability with projected maintenance events
  • work with workforce planning teams to forecast technician labor requirements, certifications, and capacity constraints
  • analyze maintenance performance data to refine planning assumptions for different fleets, check types, and customer programs
  • provide forecast inputs for annual budgeting, operations planning, and capacity alignment
  • track forecast accuracy, adjust models based on actual results, and present variance analyses with root-cause insights
  • support the development of digital forecasting tools, dashboards, and process improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy
  • adhere to all MHIRJ general work requirements and perform other duties as assigned
