Job Requirements

  • Three to five years of recent and related hospitality or food and beverage experience including two years of managerial experience
  • Demonstrated experience in hospitality or food and beverage management preferably within a gaming environment
  • Ability to direct employees in food and beverage operations
  • Strong persuasive and negotiating skills
  • Experience performing under deadlines and pressure
  • Skills in problem solving, organizing and prioritizing work
  • Effective and diplomatic communication skills in English
  • Ability to make recommendations impacting other departments
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License or identification
  • Preferred Colorado Gaming License
  • Knowledge of safety, worker's compensation, employment laws and Colorado Limited Gaming Act
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including frequent walking, climbing stairs, bending and standing for entire shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Demonstrated hospitality or food and beverage management experience preferably within a gaming environment
  • Experience directing employees in food and beverage operations
  • Strong persuasive and negotiating skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Problem-solving, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Three to five years of related hospitality experience including two years in management
  • Effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to make operational recommendations impacting other departments
  • Valid Colorado Driver's License or identification

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Supervise all food and beverage operations for the casino
  • Develop, maintain and enhance food and beverage programs to improve operational performance, increase revenue and satisfy customers
  • Assist in development of food and beverage programs to meet corporate goals
  • Establish and maintain food and beverage programs in compliance with food safety laws
  • Direct, manage and develop effective staff through training and rewards
  • Develop staff to meet performance expectations by promoting positive work morale and employee relations
  • Ensure staff adheres to uniform policies and dress codes
  • Implement food and beverage policies and procedures
  • Supervise 30-60 employees directly in operations
  • Attend casino management meetings and provide guidance on F&B issues
  • Maintain professional contacts in the industry
  • Stock liquor, wine, and F&B products
  • Manage staff performance standards and handle customer complaints
  • Complete monthly inventory and assist in reconciliation
  • Oversee menu programming into point-of-sale systems
  • Ensure quality, selection and variety of food and beverages
  • Enforce security policies and procedures
  • Assist marketing with menu planning and staffing for catering and special events
  • Coordinate food and beverage operations with other departments
  • Participate in training new employees
  • Develop weekly departmental schedules and manage staffing changes
  • Ensure no underage drinking or gambling by checking IDs and enforcing related policies
  • Participate in annual underage gambling and alcohol ID training
