Job Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college, university, or vocational/technical school with an associate's degree in business administration or related technical fields

Job Duties

  • Provide assistance and support of various departmental programs, processes, activities, and projects as assigned
  • serve as primary point of contact for inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment
  • enter and maintain electronic inventory records, intake and disburse inventory, parts, or other supplies and materials
  • complete inventory counts and reconciliations
  • receive service requests, work orders, and enter data into proprietary software systems
  • coordinate service activities with appropriate supervisor and work crews
  • reschedule activities as necessary
  • utilize appropriate software applications and web-based tools to establish predetermined reorder points, process requisitions and purchase orders, and maintain inventory counts
  • provide basic user assistance for the City's work order, procurement, and inventory applications
  • implement bar code scanning to improve efficiency
  • assist users with software utilization and training
  • enter, verify, and maintain data in various software applications
  • compile and generate standardized and customized system reports
  • monitor work environment and report maintenance needs
  • assist in coordinating contractors, program reports, safety training, supply management
  • enter service requests into work order portals
  • communicate directions or service updates to field personnel
  • prepare meeting accommodations and materials
  • route documents, mail, and maintain records and supply levels
  • perform other duties necessary for position performance
