Job Requirements
- High school education
- Two years or more of related experience
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must have an active Secret clearance
- Forklift experience or ability to obtain forklift license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Must be available for full-time day shift work
- Eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years or more related experience in logistics or warehouse operations
- Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills
- Effective communication skills to report discrepancies and coordinate with team
- Capable of working in a physical warehouse environment
- Must be a U.S. citizen
Job Duties
- Receives, inventories, and stores incoming material/equipment delivered to customer receiving department
- Inspects incoming material for conformity to packing slips/purchase orders
- Reports discrepancies/damages to appropriate authority
- Assists in maintaining a well-organized database of packing slips, invoices, DD-1149s, and work orders
- Assists with managing accuracy and organization of physical warehouse inventory both in person and through US Navy customer web based databases
- Regularly assists with inventory reconciliations & audits
- Responsible for maintaining warehouse workspace and storage locations in a clean, safe, and orderly condition
- Prepares shipments of outgoing material based off detailed work order instruction
- Boxes, wraps, packs, and otherwise prepares packages and pallets of goods for shipping
- Assists in the delivery/distribution of incoming material to computer lab
