Job Requirements

  • Entry-level to mid-level experience
  • Minimum three years of relevant logistics or supply chain experience
  • Knowledge of international trade laws and customs regulations
  • Ability to operate ERP systems and logistics software
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
  • Must be based in or willing to work onsite in Fresno, CA

Job Qualifications

  • Three plus years of experience in international import and export practices
  • Knowledge of tariff schedules and Harmonized System (HS) codes
  • Experience in supply chain or logistics
  • Vendor management experience with carriers, forwarders and 3PLs
  • Experience with transactional work in ERP systems including JD Edwards
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement or project management processes
  • Previous experience with query databases such as Power BI or SQL
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and review shipping documents ensuring accurate classification of goods
  • Monitor shipments and resolve customs clearance issues
  • Gather and analyze logistics data for reporting and improvements
  • Develop and maintain logistics KPIs and customs compliance programs
  • Manage freight bill payments and audit shipments
  • Oversee carrier freight claim processes
  • Coordinate shipment plans relative to production schedules and customer requirements
  • Process sales orders and shipping documentation via ERP systems
  • Communicate shipment issues timely for resolution
  • Act as backup for the Logistics Manager and support the Logistics Coordinator or Clerk as needed
