Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with valid driver’s license
- Must be 19 years old or older
- Physical ability to lift, pull, push, and move tires up to 50 pounds or greater
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crawl, climb, and balance regularly
- Willingness to handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment
- Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height to meet equipment compatibility
- Ability to follow traffic rules and regulations
- Ability to work extended hours including evenings and Saturdays
- Ability to drive in inclement weather and at night
- Ability to maintain forklift certification and valid driver’s license
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year of general work experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum 2 years of driving history with valid driver’s license
- Must be 19 years old or older
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work up to 35 feet above ground-level
- Ability to work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift
- Familiarity with manifest, GPS, and navigation systems
- Ability to maintain forklift certification
Job Duties
- Load and unload tires for storage and customer delivery
- Inspect and tally tires to and from transport vehicles
- Follow safety standards for packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders
- Operate forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely
- Conduct cycle counts and participate in inventory control procedures
- Collect payments from customers on cash on delivery transactions
- Perform pre and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain driver and vehicle maintenance logs
