Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years experience in international logistics
  • Proficiency in Schedule B and HTS codes
  • Experience with ERP systems for transactional work
  • Strong communication skills in English and preferably Spanish
  • Ability to manage vendor relationships
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Three plus years of experience in international import/export logistics
  • Knowledge of tariff schedules and Harmonized System codes
  • Experience with supply chain or logistics operations
  • Vendor management experience with carriers, forwarders, and 3PLs
  • Experience with ERP systems, including JD Edwards
  • Familiarity with data query tools like Power BI and SQL
  • Bilingual in Spanish
  • Experience with continuous improvement or project management

Job Duties

  • Organize and review prompt shipment of products using approved carriers
  • Coordinate import and export of goods including shipment scheduling and documentation
  • Monitor changes in trade laws and provide compliance recommendations
  • Analyze logistics data to identify improvements
  • Manage freight bill payments and freight claim processes
  • Ensure adherence to customs compliance and documentation
  • Support warehouse functions including receiving and shipping tasks
  • Act as backup to Logistics Manager and support team workload
