Job Requirements
- Associate's degree in business, logistics, or related field OR 1 year Walmart logistics experience OR 1 year transportation experience
- Compliance with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- Ability to work at 3300 Demorest Rd, Grove City, OH 43123-8058, United States
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to enforce quality and safety standards
- Experience in dispatching and regulatory compliance
- Skills in managing staffing and workflow coordination
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree in business, logistics, or a related field
- Experience in transportation or logistics
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Walmart logistics information systems such as Global Logistics Systems, Trailer Manifest System, and Visual Dispatch System
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in coordinating and managing teams and operational workflows
- Commitment to upholding company values and customer service excellence
Job Duties
- Communicate with individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
- Maintain quality and safety standards by ensuring associates are trained on logistics and company policies
- Monitor and manage productivity by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing business reports
- Dispatch drivers according to inbound and outbound load schedules while following regulatory dispatch procedures
- Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns by consulting and recommending corrective actions
- Implement business plans by communicating goals, managing staffing, scheduling, assigning duties, and coordinating workloads
- Foster a culture of respect by building high-performing teams and encouraging inclusion and diversity
