Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience in freight forwarding, ocean transport, or logistics
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and in-person
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with cargo tracking systems and intermodal coordination preferred
  • Ability to work full-time and manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in freight forwarding, ocean transport, or logistics
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong communication skills including phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • Familiarity with cargo tracking, Bills of Lading, and intermodal coordination is a plus

Job Duties

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
  • Manage customer accounts and keep clients updated on cargo status and documentation
  • Secure and coordinate bookings across multiple transportation modes
  • Monitor vessel schedules and communicate changes to clients
  • Track shipments and resolve issues related to delays, delivery, or documentation
  • Collaborate with Inbound and Intermodal teams to schedule deliveries
  • Generate and share inventory and shipment status reports
  • Help minimize demurrage and per diem by monitoring cargo at ports and customer facilities
  • Provide quotes and rate information in coordination with the pricing team
  • Support minor contract negotiations and invoice corrections
  • Audit Bills of Lading and customer account balances to support collections
