Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- proven experience in export freight forwarding
- familiarity with perishable frozen seafood shipments
- excellent communication skills
- strong organizational and time management skills

Job Duties
- Work with freight forwarders on perishable frozen container shipments and their requirements
- prepare commercial invoices
- obtain vessel insurance
- monitor cargo
- liaise with government agencies for documentation in complex transactions
- study and document transaction related costs
- coordinate with trucking companies for loading, labeling, and drayage
- manage relationships with customs brokers
- understand and process letters of credit and credit forms
- negotiate with steamship lines regarding rate contracts, demurrage, and terms
