Job Description
The Logistics Coordinator role at Emerson is critical in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of orders and consignments to customers and LBP in compliance with purchase orders, international trade regulations, and Emerson’s internal trade policies. This position requires mastery of international trade processes, including familiarity with Incoterms 2020 and country-specific customs clearance certificates. Job Requirements
- Supply chain, business administration, management, public relations, or related degree or diploma
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience
- proficiency in English and Arabic communication
- understanding of international trade regulations and customs clearance
- ability to handle import and export shipment processes
- knowledge of duty exemption procedures
- adherence to environmental health and safety regulations
- commitment to Emerson trade compliance rules
Job Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in supply chain, business administration, management, public relations, or related field
- 2 to 5 years relevant experience in logistics or supply chain
- experience with import and export procedures including duty exemption and clearance formalities
- strong communication skills in English and Arabic
- knowledge of customs regulations and international trade
- familiarity with Saudi Aramco Supplier Portal preferred
Job Duties
- Plan delivery of orders and consignments to customers on time
- ensure compliance with purchase order requirements and international trade regulations
- master all processes related to international trade regulations, Incoterms 2020, and country-specific customs certificates
- supervise packing team and coordinate packing activities
- manage shipping schedules and customer request dates
- generate shipping document packs and prepare customs documents
- arrange transportation and bookings per shipping terms
- coordinate with warehouse and freight forwarders for shipment pickups
- follow up with freight forwarders for signed collection notes and proofs of delivery
- handle import shipments and customs clearance activities
- maintain clean shipping records and archives
- drive cost savings by selecting appropriate freight forwarders
- ensure adherence to Emerson trade compliance procedures
- manage freight and duty invoices and payment follow-ups
- support internal tools for booking ocean and air shipments
- provide shipping quotes when applicable
- perform duties as assigned by management
