Job Requirements
- 2 year degree in business or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in transportation, shipping and packaging
- Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of international shipment including duties, tariffs, and taxes
- Knowledge of transportation modes and cost estimating
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of ERP systems

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Working knowledge of internet sites for shipping paperwork
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of supply chains and manufacturing

Job Duties
- Arrange all LTL and parcel shipments in line with Howden Central logistic policy and procedures
- Coordinate TL and international freight
- Coordinate and collaborate with Project Managers and Supply Chain to schedule shipments in a fast-paced environment
- Handle CDP and entry documentation filing and interpretation
- Administrate freight quoting and routing
- Maintain budget against actual freight cost by project and report monthly
- Update status of in-transit shipments and record tracking information
- Create and file packing lists and commercial paperwork for freight movement
- Maintain ERP system related to purchase order receipts
- Support Supply Chain and Operations Managers to ensure timely shipment
- Investigate and resolve freight claims
- Approve freight invoices
- Align logistics strategies with broader business goals
- Engage in continuous improvement and resolve customer satisfaction issues
