Job Requirements
- Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles and effective solutions
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Word, in particular)
- Proficient in standard logistics software
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of maritime and warehouse logistics practices, including documentation, cargo handling, and legal compliance
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, resolve delivery delays or discrepancies, and facilitate efficient cargo flow
- Experience with computerized inventory or maintenance management systems (CMMS) and logistics IT applications
- Effective communication and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders (port authorities, customs, vendors, and vessel crews)
- 3 years of customer experience preferred but not required
- Light work: exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs. frequently, or a negligible amount constantly
- Prolonged sitting: sitting at a desk for extended periods of time
- Ability to don appropriate PPE (safety-toed boots, vest, hard hat, gloves, reflective vest) and walk within a warehouse or terminal setting.

Job Duties
- Support Operations Manager with the administrative functions of the terminal
- Respond to customer inquiries and refer clients to the proper channels
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy
- Make special shipping arrangements as necessary
- Track and update shipping information
- Prepare documents for billing and or invoices
- Participate in the development of processes
- Ensure that the quality of our service meets the standards of the company and clients
- Schedule and coordinate day-to-day activities in the warehouse and interchange
- Inspect pick-up and delivery paperwork to ensure the client's needs are met
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure customer orders and information is provided
- Effectively use inventory software
- Work closely with Operations to manage inventory levels.
