Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED
  • One to three years related experience or training
  • Minimum two years aviation or parts logistics operations experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pass certification after OSHA training
  • Ability to drive at night for AOG on call requirements
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment
  • Dependable and self motivated
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree GED
  • One to three years' related experience or training
  • Preferred associate's degree
  • Minimum two years aviation or parts logistics operations experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift with OSHA certification
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to drive at night for AOG on call duties
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Dependable and self motivated
  • Team player with a professional attitude
  • Data entry proficiency
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • HAZMAT shipping certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Picking shipping and receiving of parts supplies and special tools for support of field bases
  • Processing Ramco-generated material movement documents for aircraft parts goods and supplies
  • Coordinating high priority shipments with various carriers to ensure timely delivery
  • Requesting and adhering to departmental budgets for office and shipping supplies and freight expenses
  • Maintaining quality control compliance with FAA SOX and DOD regulations
  • Conducting cycle counts and audits of inventory ensuring accuracy and appropriate labeling
  • Performing receipt of parts from approved vendors and coordinating necessary documentation
  • Delivering AOG parts by driving to parcel sort centers airports or bases as needed
  • Entering data into Ramco Aviation Software Systems
  • Performing counts and bay maintenance of inventory
  • Participating in Air Methods Safety Management System and 6S lean initiatives
  • Assisting with other duties as assigned ensuring safe operations
