Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Proven experience in logistics supply chain or transportation management
  • Experience coordinating international shipments customs clearance and freight forwarding
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of logistics operations transportation modes and shipping regulations
  • Experience using logistics management software is a plus
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and logistical challenges

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Proven experience in logistics supply chain or transportation management
  • Experience coordinating international shipments customs clearance and freight forwarding
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of logistics operations transportation modes and shipping regulations
  • Experience using logistics management software such as AMOS and Oracle is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Knowledge of shipping transportation and customs regulations preferably
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

Job Duties

  • Develop detailed logistics plans for new build or dry dock projects including timelines transportation routes and resource allocation
  • Coordinate with suppliers vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials equipment and spare parts needed for new build and dry dock projects
  • Manage purchase orders extensively to provide visibility to internal and external customers
  • Collaborate closely with project managers shipyards and dry dock facilities to align logistics activities with project schedules and adjust plans as necessary
  • Maintain general knowledge of import and export documentation and compliance requirements
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical parts and materials coordinating storage and handling at various locations
  • Serve as the main point of contact among internal teams external suppliers shipyards and dry dock providers facilitating clear communication and resolution of issues
  • Identify potential logistical risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays or disruptions
  • Provide regular updates and reports on logistics status challenges and upcoming activities to project stakeholders
