Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Proven experience in logistics supply chain or transportation management
- Experience coordinating international shipments customs clearance and freight forwarding
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of logistics operations transportation modes and shipping regulations
- Experience using logistics management software is a plus
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and logistical challenges
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Proven experience in logistics supply chain or transportation management
- Experience coordinating international shipments customs clearance and freight forwarding
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Knowledge of logistics operations transportation modes and shipping regulations
- Experience using logistics management software such as AMOS and Oracle is a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Knowledge of shipping transportation and customs regulations preferably
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
Job Duties
- Develop detailed logistics plans for new build or dry dock projects including timelines transportation routes and resource allocation
- Coordinate with suppliers vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of materials equipment and spare parts needed for new build and dry dock projects
- Manage purchase orders extensively to provide visibility to internal and external customers
- Collaborate closely with project managers shipyards and dry dock facilities to align logistics activities with project schedules and adjust plans as necessary
- Maintain general knowledge of import and export documentation and compliance requirements
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of critical parts and materials coordinating storage and handling at various locations
- Serve as the main point of contact among internal teams external suppliers shipyards and dry dock providers facilitating clear communication and resolution of issues
- Identify potential logistical risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate delays or disruptions
- Provide regular updates and reports on logistics status challenges and upcoming activities to project stakeholders
