Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One to three years related experience and/or training
  • Minimum two years aviation and/or parts logistics operations experience
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pass certification test after OSHA training
  • Ability to work regular scheduled attendance
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive at night for on-call duties
  • Problem solving skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preferred associate degree
  • Minimum two years aviation and/or parts logistics operations experience
  • Ability to operate forklift and pass certification after OSHA training
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive at night for AOG on-call requirements
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Dependable and self-motivated
  • Team player with a professional attitude
  • Proficient in data entry and advanced Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • HAZMAT shipping certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Picking, shipping and receiving of parts, supplies and special tools for support of field bases
  • Processing Ramco-generated Material Movement Documents for aircraft parts and supplies
  • Coordinating shipments with carriers to ensure timely delivery to aircraft
  • Managing budgets for office and shipping supplies and adhering to freight expense guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with FAA, SOX and DOD regulations and maintaining a safe, organized work environment
  • Conducting scheduled cycle counts and audits of inventory and maintaining accuracy of labeling and bin assignments
  • Receiving aircraft parts and supplies from approved vendors and coordinating traceability and serviceability documentation
  • Delivering AOG parts by hand to mechanics as needed and supporting after-hours on-call duties for urgent parts needs
  • Entering data into Ramco Aviation Software Systems
  • Performing inventory counts and bay maintenance
  • Supporting Air Methods Safety Management System and 6S lean initiatives
