Job Requirements
- valid driver license

- completion of Louisiana Military Department annual and required training

Job Qualifications
- supervisory experience managing at least five employees
- ability to lift 50 lbs
- dependable work attendance
- experience operating state vehicles and forklifts
- good interpersonal skills for working with employees and managers
- ability to work occasional weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- assist with all logistical activities supporting Louisiana National Guard infrastructure
- manage property control and accountability for all movable state property and vehicles
- assist with receiving tagging inventory and distribution of state property and materials
- issue and account for Army Combat Fitness Test equipment to units
- manage janitorial superintendent and support staff for installation and tenants
- assist in managing laundry facility operations supporting multiple programs
- manage logistical contracts including janitorial laundry and garbage removal
- plan and manage logistics warehouse operations year-round and during emergency events
- manage all hand receipts of department equipment on installation
- assist state Property Manager with tagging and issuing new property
- receive and account for all incoming packages from delivery services
- maintain and wear safety equipment and report violations
- ensure safety coordinator is informed of violations and follow-up
- maintain accountability of all equipment and update data cards
- practice good environmental protection measures
- perform other duties as assigned
