Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, international business, or related field
  • 5+ years of logistics or trade compliance experience
  • Experience with tariff classification, import/export regulations, and global materials compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and compliance-driven mindset
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of logistics or trade compliance experience
  • Experience with tariff classification, import/export regulations, and global materials compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting and supplier compliance systems
  • Prior involvement in duty drawback, free trade agreements, or tariff-optimization programs

Job Duties

  • Classify products under appropriate HTS codes, ECCN classifications, and tariff categories, ensuring accuracy for all import/export transactions
  • Monitor and support company compliance with tariffs, Section 301 requirements, duty-free programs, preferential origin rules, and duty drawback eligibility
  • Maintain and update product compliance data, including country of origin, free trade agreement applicability, and tariff impact analysis
  • Prepare and maintain export documentation (AES filings, declarations, commercial invoices) and assist in license management
  • Conduct and document denied party screening and escalate issues per company protocol
  • Assist with investigations into potential violations and support corrective action processes
  • Administer and maintain supplier and product compliance related to PFAS, RoHS, REACH, SVHC declarations, Conflict Minerals, and POPs
  • Coordinate with product management and suppliers to obtain, validate, and archive material declarations, certifications, and test reports
  • Support internal audits and customer inquiries regarding global sustainability and product compliance data
  • Process and audit freight invoices, ensuring accurate GL coding and timely payment
  • Track domestic and international shipments
  • troubleshoot delays, customs holds, and discrepancies
  • Support global 3PL/4PL relationships to maintain efficient transportation flow
  • Create and maintain structured shipping, inventory, and logbooks for audit-readiness
  • Identify and implement opportunities for freight cost reduction, routing improvements, or carrier optimization
  • Manage documentation related to import/export controls, material disclosures, and compliance certifications
  • Produce analytical reports on freight spend, tariff exposure, compliance accuracy, and shipment performance
  • Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Quality, and external partners to resolve logistics or compliance issues
  • Support training initiatives regarding trade compliance, materials compliance, and logistics best practices
