Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience or training
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain topics
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Word
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 6 months to 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Understanding of logistics and supply chain topics and trends
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Proficient computer skills including Excel and Word
  • Hazardous materials certification preferred but not required
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow meeting customer expectations
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems per Operational Performance Standards
  • Track and trace shipment files daily
  • Scan and validate documents
  • Ensure documents are received and processed timely to keep cargo moving
  • Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing within company and customer requirements
  • Interact with customers in arranging domestic or international shipments to meet service standards
  • Communicate regularly with service providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
  • Understand departmental process flows and contribute to best practice improvements
  • Maintain and update customer standard operating procedures in the DLSOPs
  • Meet KPI standards according to company procedures
  • Respond promptly to emails and voicemails to exceed customer expectations
  • Escalate problems to management when necessary
