Job Requirements

- Understanding of logistics and supply chain topics
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills

Job Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 6 months to 1 year related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain topics and trends
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills including Excel and Word
- Hazardous materials certification preferred but not required
- Fluent in English
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow meeting customer expectations
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into operational systems per Operational Performance Standards
- Track and trace shipment files daily
- Scan and validate documents
- Ensure documents are received and processed timely to keep cargo moving
- Ensure accurate and timely client and vendor billing within company and customer requirements
- Interact with customers in arranging domestic or international shipments to meet service standards
- Communicate regularly with service providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
- Understand departmental process flows and contribute to best practice improvements
- Maintain and update customer standard operating procedures in the DLSOPs
- Meet KPI standards according to company procedures
- Respond promptly to emails and voicemails to exceed customer expectations
- Escalate problems to management when necessary
