Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in freight brokerage or logistics with a strong focus on bulk tanker freight
- Working knowledge of DOT FMCSA hazmat and food-grade transport regulations
- Hazmat safety awareness training
- TWIC card knowledge or port experience a plus
- Experience working with TMS platforms and load boards such as DAT Truckstop ITS
- Excellent communication and customer service skills

Job Duties
- Coordinate load execution from tender to delivery including scheduling tracking and issue resolution
- Source and manage qualified bulk tanker carriers ensuring all meet safety insurance and compliance requirements
- Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to optimize cost and margin while maintaining service levels
- Act as a liaison between shippers receivers and carriers to ensure clear communication and high customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product compatibility washout requirements and equipment types
- Use internal systems and TMS software to enter load data update status and document communication
- Monitor market trends in the bulk sector to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate capacity constraints
