Job Requirements

  • experience includes paid unpaid and volunteer work
  • resume must clearly describe relevant experience
  • baccalaureate degree or higher may substitute for two years experience
  • no substitution of education for assistant lodging manager experience
  • foreign education must be equivalent to us standards
  • regular full time employment with benefits
  • ability to manage operations in military or commercial hotel settings

Job Qualifications

  • four years experience in hospitality including two years at assistant lodging manager level
  • baccalaureate degree or higher in hotel management hospitality or business may substitute for two years hospitality experience
  • certified hospitality administrator or certified rooms division executive highly desired
  • experience with facility management and renovation
  • proven leadership and staff management skills

Job Duties

  • oversee daily hotel operations ensuring economic soundness of program operations
  • implement uniform accounting and supply procedures
  • manage facility maintenance and coordinate renovations
  • supervise and manage hotel staff
  • maintain compliance with military and hospitality standards
  • prepare and manage budgets
  • liaise with military and civilian personnel to ensure service excellence
