Job Requirements

  • eligible to work in the U.S.
  • able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • pass a pre-employment background investigation including a Georgia criminal records search
  • pass a pre-employment drug test
  • pass a post-employment federal background investigation including a national criminal records search

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • six months of full-time work experience providing customer support or technical assistance
  • minimum of six months of work experience in commercial housekeeping preferred
  • basic computer skills a plus
  • ability to interact well with customers
  • strong organizational skills
  • attention to detail

Job Duties

  • register guest by phone or in person
  • manage guest service requests
  • issue extra linens
  • keep front desk area and lobby clean
  • process cash or credit card payments
  • update the reservation system including cancellations and early departures
  • sweep and mop floors
  • vacuum carpets, dust and polish furniture
  • clean metal fixtures
  • empty and clean trash containers
  • clean sinks, toilets, mirrors, and showers
  • wipe down glass surfaces
  • make up beds, change linens and towels
  • maintain cleaning carts
  • operate commercial washer and dryer
  • collect and distribute linens
  • wash, dry, fold, stack and store linens, towels, washcloths, and bath mats
  • maintain laundry rooms and storage rooms
