Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED equivalent
- five to ten years locksmith experience and or training
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ability to travel up to a week if necessary
- ability to sit climb or balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl
- ability to occasionally lift and or move up to 100 pounds
- ability to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds
- willingness to comply with safety regulations
- ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- disassembles locks such as padlocks safe locks vault locks door locks and teller locks
- repairs or replaces worn tumblers springs and other parts
- inserts new or repaired tumblers into lock to change combination
- cuts new or duplicate keys using key cutting machine
- moves lock pick in cylinder to open door locks without keys
- opens safe and vault locks by drilling
- may keep records of company locks and keys
- accounts for all tools equipment and all job parts inventory
- tests all installed serviced equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with customer requirements
- communicates important project status information to management as necessary
- communicates with customers on job status or completion
- completes and turns in all required paperwork timely according to established procedures and deadlines
- maintains and controls assigned truck stock inventory in an organized manner
- maintains control and safeguards all company or customer property or information entrusted
- coordinates and ensures vehicle maintenance according to established standards
- maintains clean driving record and operates company vehicles using safe driving practices
- may provide training to less experienced employees and trainees on company procedures systems and lock work techniques
- ensures all work is performed to company quality standards and practices
- works in compliance with federal state laws regarding safety of self and others at all times
- performs other related duties as assigned
