Job Requirements
- Must be able to interact with guests and co-workers in a respectful and congenial manner
- Must be self-directed and able to resolve minor guest issues as deemed appropriate by Cavallo Point standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks required for locker room maintenance
- Adherence to uniform cleanliness and proper attire at all times without exception
- Ability to maintain and follow high safety standards and personal conduct
- Willingness to comply with company policies and procedures as established in the employee handbook
- Compliance with attendance policy and meal and rest breaks reporting any discrepancies to management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work cooperatively with a team and other departments
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
- Customer service oriented with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
Job Duties
- Monitor the guest use of facilities making sure that guests do not endanger themselves with overuse of facilities
- Ensure that facilities are kept impeccably neat and clean and in safe condition at all times notifying a supervisor or manager immediately when facilities need servicing or repairing
- Responsible for the replenishment of locker room products as directed by supervisor or manager
- Report and document any observed or known safety hazards conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to a supervisor or manager immediately
- Be aware at all times who is in the locker rooms
- Notify a supervisor or manager immediately if there is suspicious behavior that may put staff or guests in danger
- Adhere to Cavallo Point values for guest and staff member interaction
- Take ownership of guest’s problems or complaints and refer situations to a supervisor or manager if unable to fully satisfy the guest
- Rotate stock and perishables as set down by management
- Perform opening duties when scheduled including preparing flavored water for locker rooms and public guest areas making sure that all guest amenities are completely stocked
- Perform closing duties when scheduled including sanitizing all flip flops and restocking locker room amenities
- Assist GSAs and GSA specialists with guest tours food orders and other related guest service issues
- Maintain sincere and warm interaction with all guests including consistent eye contact with a smile
- Follow and deliver 5 star services standards delighting guests by anticipating their needs
