Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED or state approved equivalent
- Six months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL A license
- Must be 21 years of age
- Meet all State licensing and certification requirements where applicable
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and other equipment to move and stack product cases and freight generally ranging from 60 to 90 pounds throughout shift
Job Qualifications

- Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move and stack freight cases generally weighing 60 to 90 pounds
Job Duties
- Attend and successfully complete the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program
- Ride with and assist driver trainer on deliveries
- Perform required safety checks including pre and post trip inspections
- Follow all DOT regulations and company driving policies
- Inspect trailer for loaded and secured freight and complete associated paperwork
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to schedule
- Unload products, transport to designated areas, verify deliveries, collect payments, and handle returns
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are secured
- Unload damaged goods and complete paperwork
- Complete daily hours of service records and log entries
- Perform housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock
- Perform other related duties as assigned
