Job Requirements
- CDL truck driver must have Hazmat/Tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain Hazmat/Tanker
- CDL truck driver must live within a 1 hour and 15 minute commute to our Roanoke location (1640 Granby St NE, Roanoke, VA)
- CDL driver must have at least 4 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- 260000 tractor-trailer miles
Job Qualifications
- valid CDL A license with Hazmat/Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain
- minimum of 4 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- experience driving over 260,000 tractor-trailer miles
- strong knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- commitment to safety and professionalism
Job Duties
- operate tanker trucks to deliver petroleum products to Sheetz locations
- adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean driving record
- conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs
- manage scheduling to ensure timely deliveries
- communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members
- adhere to all federal and state transportation regulations
- maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
