Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Valid Class C driver’s license or state equivalent
  • DOT medical certification
  • Must have a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Ability to work nights and weekends
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable and dependable with self-initiative
  • Safety conscious at all times
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous experience in a similar role or industry is a plus
  • Valid Class C driver’s license or state equivalent
  • Must be insurable to drive by company standards
  • DOT medical certification
  • Forklift certification (obtained after employment)
  • Commercial TIA certification preferred
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to use road maps, smartphones, and GPS devices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet time constraints
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, dependable, and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

  • Operate up to a 26-foot truck and deliver commercial tires and wheels class 5 through 8, as well as other items to customers
  • Maintain a safe and clean driving record
  • Execute client delivery schedules, ensure proper loading and unloading, and obtain signed paperwork
  • Maintain cleanliness, perform maintenance, and manage inventory levels on the truck and person
  • Assist supervisor with planning routes to maximize delivery efficiency
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Communicate any traffic violations, accidents, breakdowns, or delays to management and customers
  • Use Michelin mobile app to accurately record tire casing information and barcode client tires and wheels
  • Assist with scrap out analysis as needed
  • Interact professionally with customers and Snider personnel
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to verify mechanical systems functionality
  • Follow all safety rules, wear proper PPE, and practice safety-conscious behavior
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality, adhere to company policies and procedures
