Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record when applicable for the position
- Background check company-wide results used with individualized assessment
- Drug screen when applicable for the position
- Compliance with healthcare facility credentialing process when applicable for the position
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with medical equipment preferred
- One year of related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
- Ability to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
- Effective communication skills in English both oral and written
- Ability to interpret a variety of communications verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual
- Maintain confidentiality, discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Strong multitasking ability with attention to detail
- Self-motivated, organized, with time-management and deductive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in email transmission and communication
- Skilled in internet navigation and research
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Competence with office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, printers, phones, computers and tablets
- Mechanically inclined for equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Knowledge and demonstration of proper loading, unloading and secure tie down procedures
- Understanding of home respiratory equipment and supplies
Job Duties
- Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
- Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
- Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
- Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
- Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
- Available for on-call assignments as needed after business hours and weekends
- Perform other duties as assigned
