Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record
  • background investigation
  • drug screen when applicable for the position
  • ability to lift a minimum of 65 pounds
  • comply with respiratory protection and N95 mask fit testing policy including medical evaluation, fit testing compliance, annual recertification, and maintain a clean-shaven face for mask seal protection
  • able to drive a company vehicle for majority of the workday
  • able to interact with patients and equipment potentially exposed to contagious pathogens
  • must have sitting, walking, standing, talking, listening abilities
  • requires close vision for small print on computer or paperwork

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • experience with medical equipment, preferred
  • one year of related work experience, preferred
  • medical terminology, preferred
  • accurately perform simple mathematical calculations
  • effectively communicate in English
  • interpret a variety of communications including verbal, non-verbal, written, listening and visual
  • maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  • multi-task with attention to detail
  • self-motivation, organized, and strong time management skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • mechanically inclined for repair and troubleshooting of equipment
  • proficient in email communication and internet navigation
  • skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • familiar with office equipment such as fax, copier, and printer
  • demonstrate proper loading and unloading and cargo tie down procedures
  • understand use of home respiratory equipment and supplies

Job Duties

  • Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes
  • educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment
  • maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and patient safety
  • complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time
  • keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service
  • respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations
  • ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards
