Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Valid class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Two years of consecutive driving experience or recent completion certification from an accredited truck driving school
- Hazmat Endorsement on CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Physical ability to lift at least 75 pounds
- Proficient in reading and writing English
- Effective organizational, listening, and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and integrity
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment
Job Duties
- Deliver products to customers making 10-12 stops per day while handling freight, completing paperwork, and providing excellent customer service
- Accurately count and record quantities and styles of products delivered and picked up
- Complete hazardous material shipping order papers in compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct and report pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Identify the need for timely vehicle repairs and/or maintenance
- Build relationships and partnerships with internal and external customers to meet business and customer goals
- Continuously expand knowledge of Linde's business operations to support organizational growth
- Perform other duties as assigned
