Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years or older
- Must have valid Class A Driver's License
- Must possess valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Must have Hazmat and Airbrake certifications or obtain as condition of employment
- Must have one year of professional Class A driving experience within last five years with clean driving record
- May qualify with accredited driving school diploma or combination of relevant experience
- Must comply with all safety and government regulations
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A Driver's License
- Valid Medical Examiner's Card
- Hazmat and Airbrake certifications or ability to acquire
- One year of professional Class A driving experience within last five years or accredited driving school diploma
- Clean driving record with limited convictions or at-fault accidents
- Preferred high school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred forklift experience
- Preferred touch freight delivery experience
Job Duties
- Operate a Class A Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed and liquid gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- Collect empty cylinders from customers and return them to plant or branch for refilling
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections ensuring safety compliance
- Maintain accurate load manifests and vehicle documents ensuring regulatory compliance
- Establish and maintain good customer relations providing timely communication of delivery issues
- Work in warehouse or on dock as needed to support operations
