Job Duties
- Recruit host families from within their communities or up to 100 miles away per YFU USA best practice standards
- coordinate exchange students’ activities and experiences locally
- support exchange students and families during the exchange year by ensuring orientation attendance, monthly contact reports, SEE visits, and other benchmarks
- build relationships with schools, communities, and cultural organizations
- organize events and outings that showcase local culture
- offer guidance and encouragement to students adjusting to a new environment and mediate using conflict resolution skills
