Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least one year of verifiable Class A or B CDL driving experience
- class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement
- clean Motor Vehicle Record
- physical capability to routinely lift 25-75 lbs and up to 125+ lbs with material handling equipment
- ability to bend, walk, stand and drive up to 8 hours per day
- at least 21 years old
Job Qualifications
- at least one full year of Class A or B CDL driving experience verifiable under DOT requirements within the past 5 years or recent graduate from an accredited driving school
- class A or B CDL with Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain Hazmat endorsement upon contingency of offer
- clean Motor Vehicle Record
- at least 21 years of age
- exceptional customer service skills considered a plus
- physical capability to lift 25-75 lbs routinely and up to 125+ lbs with material handling equipment
Job Duties
- operate a Class B Hazmat vehicle delivering compressed gas cylinders and hard goods along designated routes
- collect empty cylinders from customers
- record transactions and obtain signatures
- address customer inquiries ensuring satisfaction
- handle loading and unloading of products
- conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections noting issues and ensuring safety compliance
- maintain professional appearance and upkeep vehicle condition
