Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
- valid class A or B CDL with a clean driving record
- ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- ability to lift, push, or move product weighing up to 100 pounds repeatedly
- flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required
- comfortable driving to New York City
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license
- clean driving record
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- physical ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
- experience driving in urban environments, including New York City
- good customer service skills
- prior experience in food and beverage delivery preferred
- at least 2 years of consistent work history
Job Duties
- Operate delivery truck safely and efficiently on local routes
- load packages onto hand trucks and unload products at each stop
- follow route instructions as designated by the Transportation Department Manager
- pick up loaded trucks from nightly deliveries and return empty trucks to the lot
- assist with occasional loading, palletizing, and other duties as assigned
- maintain accurate delivery documentation and log daily activities
- communicate effectively with supervisors and customers
