Job Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license CDL-A or CDL-B
- Valid DOT Medical Card
- Pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Ability to work variable schedule with early start times
- Minimum 1 year of driving experience
- Ability to lift 40-50 pounds regularly
- Ability to climb traditional and truck ladders
- Ability to use hands to handle tools and controls
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods
- Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to hear and distinguish sounds
- Ability to make fast, repeated hand movements
- Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach
- Ability to move two or more limbs while remaining in place
- Ability to hold arm and hand steady while moving arm
- Ability to see details of close objects
- Ability to use muscles to jump, sprint, or throw
- Ability to be physically active for long periods
- No smoking on company property
Job Qualifications
- Must possess a valid commercial driver's license CDL-A or CDL-B and a valid DOT Medical Card
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen
- Able to work a variable schedule with start times between 12 am and 9 am
- 1 year of preferred driving experience
Job Duties
- Maintain the highest standard of quality and safety while ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of concrete
- Operate an 80,000 lbs ready-mix truck in accordance with all federal and state regulations
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines
- Document and request required repairs as needed
- Load and pour concrete according to procedures involving ladders, main chutes, and extension chutes
- Drive in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic
- Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records according to company policies and regulations
- Read delivery tickets and communicate effectively with dispatch regarding all deliveries
- Wash residual concrete and materials off all areas of the truck and barrel
