Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- at least six months experience in a related hospitality role preferred
- ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel often and lift up to 25 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- must be able to read and follow safety instructions and cleaning protocols
- reliable attendance and punctuality
- good communication skills
- ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- pass background check and drug screening
- maintain positive and friendly demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and approachable attitude that helps guests and the team feel welcome and cared for every day
- comfortable communicating clearly and positively with both guests and teammates
- high school diploma or GED is a plus but not required
- six months experience as a lobby porter in the hospitality industry or related experience is a plus
- reliability in meeting deadlines and showing up ready to contribute
- comfortable working solo or as part of a team
- ability to read and follow directions including Safety Data Sheets for cleaning supplies
- knack for clear, friendly communication with guests and coworkers
- willingness to pass and maintain compliance with background and drug-free workplace policies
Job Duties
- Make sure the space stays safe, clean, and friendly for both guests and the rest of the team
- speak up and report any safety concerns to the Safety Committee
- embody the resort's service standards in a way that leaves team members and guests telling their friends all about us
- create a clean, safe, healthy, and friendly environment for both guests and coworkers
- greet guests, answer requests, and always protect their privacy
- vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and refresh amenities with careful attention to detail
- wash windows, wipe down walls, clean bathrooms, and keep every corner shining
- put furnishings and accessories back in place with care after cleaning
- tackle closing duties including restocking carts, wrapping toiletries, helping teammates, and organizing supplies
- handle special projects or light-duty tasks when business slows down
- report lost-and-found items, damages, or anything suspicious to the supervisor
- resolve or pass along guest concerns to ensure every visitor feels cared for
- support the team and keep things running smoothly
- perform other duties as assigned
