Job Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience, preferably in a hotel or guest-focused environment
  • valid Arizona Title IV certification
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional special events
  • ability to multitask and stay organized in a low-volume bar environment
  • strong communication skills
  • passion for hospitality and creating memorable experiences
  • creativity and curiosity for mixology

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience, preferably in a hotel or guest-focused environment
  • valid Arizona Title IV certification
  • experience with Toast POS highly preferred
  • strong communication skills and a genuine interest in connecting with others
  • creativity and curiosity for mixology
  • ability to multitask and stay organized in a relaxed, low-volume bar setting

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and create an inviting atmosphere at the bar and lounge area
  • craft cocktails, pour drinks, and take/serve food orders with accuracy and attention to presentation
  • build genuine relationships with guests, learning their preferences to foster loyalty and repeat visits
  • maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar at all times
  • collaborate with the Assistant General Manager and General Manager to create nightly or weekly drink specials that reflect guest preferences and the Residence Inn brand
  • partner with distributors and the management team to assist in planning and executing monthly events or themed gatherings
  • uphold safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards in accordance with company policies and local laws
  • take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel
