Job Requirements
- Minimum 21 years of age with the expectation to mix and serve alcohol
- Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations
- Must work afternoons, late evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift at least 20 lbs across short-medium distances
- Ability to stand for the entire shift
- Ability to reach, bend, lift, and carry trays, boxes, dishes, and glassware
- Must work on site due to job requirements
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent life experience in a supervisory role preferred
- Minimum 2 years food service experience preferably as server or bartender
- Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience highly preferred
- Minimum 2 years server or bartender experience preferred
- Experience with POS systems such as InfoGenesis preferred
- Basic understanding of business financials preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Ability to pass a background check
Job Duties
- Ensure all guests have a memorable experience filled with hospitality and exceptional service
- Be a problem-solver with a strong work ethic and leadership skills
- Understand that guest satisfaction takes priority while maintaining efficient restaurant operations
- Follow steps of service with efficiency and a sense of urgency
- Lead and assist the team in striving for excellence
- Train and develop staff knowledge of beverages including cocktails, liquor, beer, and wine
- Organize, communicate, and lead the team through successful shifts
- Ensure employees follow side work guidelines
- Maintain a positive work environment
- Follow all employee handbook rules and resort regulations
- Rotate food and drink stock properly
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Comply with state sanitation and health regulations
- Meet guest special requests
- Contribute to team growth and success
- Perform well under pressure during high volume shifts
- Communicate effectively with staff, management, and kitchen
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings
- Support service commitment and core values
- Prioritize, organize, delegate work, and follow up on tasks
- Resolve problems calmly and professionally
- Handle multiple tasks with professionalism
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Motivate staff and maintain team cohesion
- Direct staff performance and follow up with corrections
- Ensure quality standards using all senses
- Uphold resort core values, policies, and procedures
- Handle accuracy of money during transactions
- Communicate professionally during guest conflicts providing solutions
- Maintain relationships with beverage representatives
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and develop
- Perform all other assigned duties
