Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a current Louisiana Responsible Vendor's Permit
- Must have current Managers ServSafe Food Handler's Certification
- Current Louisiana Vendor's Permit and Manager's Permit required
- 1-2 years' experience as a bar supervisor, lead bartender, or assistant manager in a high-volume, luxury, or award-winning bar, restaurant, or hotel
- Knowledge of mixology, wine service, craft beer, and beverage cost controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Prior experience in serving, bartending, and cash handling
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and carry beverage cases up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
- Ability to operate POS systems and bar equipment

Job Duties
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all beverage offerings, including spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail menus
- Assist in the development and execution of beverage menus, seasonal features, and cocktail programs in collaboration with the culinary team
- Ensure all bar staff complete side work, opening/closing checklists, and maintain operational standards
- Conduct spot checks of liquor pars, assist with inventory counts, and place orders as directed by the Manager
- Hold pre-shift meetings to review promotions, service standards, and product knowledge
- Train, coach, and evaluate bar staff on service techniques, cocktail preparation, responsible alcohol service, and guest engagement
- Address guest feedback, comments, and complaints, escalating major concerns to the Bar & Beverage Manager
