Job Requirements

  • Prefer evening, weekends, and holidays shift availability
  • Ability to lift and move up to 55 pounds independently
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel or sit for prolonged periods
  • Capability to maneuver carts and equipment on various surfaces
  • Compliance with company safety policies and procedures
  • Effective communication skills
  • No prior supervisory experience required

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to follow company safety policies and complete required training
  • Good physical coordination and stamina
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in appearance and conduct
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks safely

Job Duties

  • Clean showers and public and employee restrooms
  • Clean glass surfaces in public and employee areas
  • Clean floors in public and employee spaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment
  • Dust surfaces in assigned areas
  • Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and waste bins in public areas into appropriate receptacles
  • Inspect furniture for damage such as breaks, tears, and stains and report damage
  • Clean and maintain lighting fixtures
  • Place caution signs to reduce traffic when necessary
  • Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs
  • Respond promptly to guest and departmental requests
  • Identify and report preventive maintenance problems in public areas or guest rooms
