Job Requirements

  • maintain a safe and clean work area
  • notify supervisor or manager of supplies as needed
  • report all maintenance issues as soon as possible
  • be hospitable to guests and associates
  • maintain a positive attitude
  • maintain high coverage in public areas and restrooms during peak times
  • maintain high degree of cleanliness and service to guests
  • be available to handle immediate attention situations
  • maintain a pristine environment in all public areas
  • clean and refresh pool area in absence of pool attendant
  • clean sleeping rooms and bathrooms as needed

Job Qualifications

  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • willing to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • must be a self starter and able to work with minimum supervision
  • able to stand or be on feet for long periods
  • able to lift and bend without difficulty
  • ability to speak in language understood by guests and co-workers

Job Duties

  • clean and refresh pool area in absence of pool attendant
  • clean guest rooms and bathrooms as needed
  • clean all public areas and restrooms including pre-assembly, lobby, and outside entrances
  • vacuum carpets in public areas
  • empty ashtrays and change sand
  • dust all furniture and clean glass, windows, walls, and wood trimming
  • clean under all furniture
  • assist guests with questions about daily events
  • clean Corrigan's
  • complete turn downs and refresh service daily
  • answer guest request calls timely
  • empty and clean all trash cans
  • help with laundry operations when not busy
  • perform other duties as assigned by supervisor and manager
